Electronic resources

In the library's website you will find a wide collection of electronic resources which are displayed according to document type.

Accessing e-resources from outside

You will have to set up a VPN (Virtual Private Network) in order to access subscribed electronic resources whenever you're outside of FEUP's campus.

If you enter this page bellow the tab "Only for the Faculty of Engineering" you may select the device in which you wish to install FEUP's VPN and follow the instructions.

Print collection: subjects by library floor

Ground Floor (entrance)
Main Assistance Desk; Lockers; Newspapers; Infoliteracy Service (C002; C006), Library's Director Room.

1st Floor

Human and Social Sciences; Management; Mathematics, Astronomy, Physics, Literature, Comics; Magazines.

2nd Floor

Electrotechnical Engineering, Energy, Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation.

3rd Floor

Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering.

4th Floor

Civil Engineering, Geology, Territorial Planning, Architecture.

5th Floor
Periodicals' storage area; Timor's private colection.

6th Floor
Individual Cabinets; Group Study Rooms (C603 and C604); Training Room (C601).

Group study rooms

If you need to study with other colleagues and speak more loudly you may use the Meeting Point Room (C603), located on the 6th floor. Next to it you may also use the Room C604 for the same purposes.
