The library offers a range of services and facilities to support its users. Our reference staff provides both general and specialized assistance, tailored to your study and research needs. We also offer training sessions to the community. Below are some key services and facilities available.
The library's Reference Service helps users in locating, exploring and utilizing the information resources available. You may ask for support in person or remotely.

In the 6th flloor, there are 16 study rooms that can be used by any member of the FEUP community.
You must request this service through SIGARRA at least 1 day in advance.

FEUP's Library promotes cultural activities such as bibliographic exhibitions, talks and book presentations among others, which are open to all members of the community.
"Clube de Leitura", the reading club of the library, is one of the activities that promotes reading habits and informes the community about the collections of the library.
In order to help the community develop their information skills, the library provides training sessions on how to search and use scientific and technical information resources. There are two types of training:
These sessions take place at the Library's Training Room (C601) located on the 6th floor.

At the Library's ground floor there are lockers available for you to store your belongings.
You just need to request a key at the circulation desk.
On the 1st and 3rd floors you'll find printing and scanning equipment available on a self service-basis.
