Entre os dias 1 e 3 de abril, a Biblioteca da FEUP recebeu com entusiasmo os estudantes do ensino secundário que participaram na iniciativa Semana Profissão Engenheiro.

Com o Piso 0 renovado e um ambiente acolhedor, desafiamos os visitantes a “Descobrir o Admirável Mundo da Informação” – uma viagem que começou com um vídeo de apresentação e continuou com uma visita guiada pelos nossos espaços de estudo e recursos. Para tornar tudo ainda mais cativante, preparámos:

  • Uma mostra de livros ligados aos cursos da FEUP
  • Um jogo interativo que aliou a diversão à aprendizagem
  • Diplomas e brindes para os vencedores e boa disposição para todos

No final, as reações foram muito positivas: os estudantes elogiaram o ambiente da Biblioteca e mostraram-se inspirados com a possibilidade de, um dia, fazerem parte da comunidade FEUP.

From April 1st to 3rd, the FEUP Library enthusiastically welcomed high school students participating in this year’s edition of the Engineering Profession Week initiative.

With the recently renovated Floor 0 and a welcoming atmosphere, we invited students to “Discover the Wonderful World of Information” – a journey that began with an introductory video and continued with a guided tour through our study spaces and information resources.

To make the experience even more engaging, we prepared:

  • A book display related to FEUP’s degree programmes
  • An interactive game that combines fun with learning
  • Certificates and giveaways for the winners – and good vibes for everyone!
     

In the end, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive: students praised the Library’s environment and left feeling inspired by the idea of one day becoming part of the FEUP community.
