Nas atividades de acolhimento aos novos estudantes, no âmbito da unidade curricular Projeto FEUP, a Biblioteca participou com a componente “Relatórios em Engenharia", realizando sessões teóricas e práticas no dia 14 de setembro e com um módulo de formação em e-learning. O objetivo é contribuir para a integração e melhoria do desempenho académico dos estudantes, ajudando-os a desenvolver competências na área da informação, como realizar pesquisas eficazes, avaliar a qualidade da informação ou usar a informação de modo ético.


Como complemento desta formação, publicaram-se também um conjunto de guias sobre diversas especialidades de Engenharia, que serão úteis certamente desde já a estes novos estudantes.

A Biblioteca espera assim contribuir para uma boa integração dos novos estudantes da FEUP, desejando a todos um excelente ano letivo!

As part of the activities to welcome new students to the Projeto FEUP course unit, the Library provided training about “Reports in Engineering”, holding theoretical and practical sessions on 14th September and launching an e-learning training module. The main goal is to contribute to the integration and improvement of students' academic performance by helping them to develop skills in the area of information, such as carrying out effective searches, assessing the quality of information, or ethically using information. 


To further complement this training, it also published a set of guides on various engineering specialities, which will be undoubtedly helpful to these new students immediately.

The Library thus hopes to contribute to a smooth integration of the new FEUP students, wishing them all an excellent academic year!
