Novidades no estilo de citação Chicago 18 // New Chicago 18 Citation Style

O estilo de referência Chicago acaba de lançar a sua 18ª edição (Chicago 18). Esta nova atualização que  traz algumas mudanças significativas ao formato de citação e referências bibliográficas. 
Damos particular  destaque às seguintes novidades: 

• a menção aos autores numa referência, passa a ser até 6: https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/book/ed18/part3/ch13/psec107.html
•  passa a ser recomendada a repetição dos nomes dos autores numa série de obras na lista da bibliografia https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/book/ed18/part3/ch13/psec113.html

Há ainda um reforço das seguintes recomendações relacionadas com o conteúdo gerado por IA:

The Chicago citation style has just released its 18th edition. This new update brings some significant changes to citation formatting and reference structuring.
We highlight the following key updates:

• The number of authors listed in a reference is now up to 6: https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/book/ed18/part3/ch13/psec107.html
• Authors' names in a series of works in the bibliography list should now be repeated: https://www.chicagomanualofstyle.org/book/ed18/part3/ch13/psec113.html

Additionally, there is a reinforcement of recommendations regarding the citation of AI-generated content:
